Woodlake lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Corcoran, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Tigers really took it to the Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-6 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Aldo Rodriguez, who threw for 285 yards and five TDs while completing 76.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Jose Rodriguez was another key player, gaining 70 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory keeps Woodlake at an undefeated 5-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.6 points on average this season. As for Corcoran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodlake will head out to face off against Orange Cove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Corcoran, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lindsay at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
