Volleyball Recap: Reed-Custer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Reed-Custer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Herscher Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Reed-Custer was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Herscher work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24.

Reed-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Herscher, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 7-24 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reed-Custer will take on rival Wilmington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Herscher is set to square off against their familiar foe Coal City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
