 There's no place like home for Milano, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Granger Lions  a   10-0 shutout  on Tuesday. With that  victory, Milano brought their scoring average up to 6.2  runs per game.
  Karley Hairston made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Hairston was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rayelee Keen, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Baylee Wall, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 On Granger's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Montana Moore, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and a  double.
 Milano has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record  this season. As for Granger, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-7-2.
 Milano will  square off against Rosebud-Lott at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Rosebud-Lott will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Milano surely won't give up without a fight. As for Granger, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Thorndale at 6:00  p.m.
