Softball Recap: North Tahoe Takes a Loss

North Tahoe played against Oasis Academy on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

North Tahoe is on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14. As for Oasis Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Tahoe will square off against Silver Stage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Nighthawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.93 runs per game on average), something the Lakers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oasis Academy, they will take on West Wendover at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
