The Denton Broncos will venture away from home to take on the Ryan Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Denton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Things were looking good for Denton after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Argyle by a score of 2-1.

Denton's goal came courtesy of Brandon Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Ryan's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Argyle by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 475th, while the Eagles are ranked 154th).

With the loss, Ryan broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for Denton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-3-3 record this season.
