Cortland Carson Game Report: vs Marmaton Valley

Cortland Carson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game with at least 15 points. He went 13 of 25 on his way to 30 points and seven rebounds. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Marmaton Valley back in January of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. That makes it three consecutive games in which Carson has scored at least a third of Iola's points.

Carson and Iola will host Santa Fe Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Iola will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 133 places lower in Kansas), but they're not letting that get them down.
