Baseball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Comes Up Short

Lafayette Jefferson lost to North Montgomery back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bronchos fell 7-4 to the Chargin' Chargers.

Ben Pickering made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lafayette Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for North Montgomery, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette Jefferson will square off against McCutcheon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Montgomery, they will take on North Putnam at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
