There's no place like home for Head-Royce, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers 16-1 on Tuesday. The Jayhawks have beaten the Tigers the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

The victory got Head-Royce back to even at 1-1. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Head-Royce will venture away from home to face off against Piedmont at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they will challenge Redwood Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Redwood Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.5 runs per game on average), something Lick-Wilmerding will no doubt try to take advantage of.
