Notre Dame got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They skirted past the Jurupa Hills Spartans 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted against the Spartans since October 5, 2022.

Notre Dame was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-96), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 14-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21, 16-14.

Notre Dame's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-17. As for Jurupa Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will take on Aquinas at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jurupa Hills, they will challenge Rim of the World at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
