Baseball Recap: Pahranagat Valley Comes Up Short

Pahranagat Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lincoln County Lynx, falling 22-11. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Paysen Jones and Weston Dukes did some serious damage despite the final result: Jones scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Dukes scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Dukes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keadin (CJ) Christian, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Pahranagat Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Pahranagat Valley and Lincoln County will both be playing North Sevier the next time they take the field. Lincoln County will head out to face North Sevier at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pahranagat Valley will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
