Basketball Recap: Kenton Ridge Takes a Loss

Kenton Ridge lost against Shawnee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kenton Ridge Cougars fell to the Shawnee Braves 38-33. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kenton Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Shawnee, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

The future could be bright for both Kenton Ridge and Shawnee: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Kenton Ridge will try to hand Springfield their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Shawnee will look to extend Southeastern Local's three-game losing streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
