Basketball Recap: Long Branch Takes a Loss

Long Branch was the 52-50 winner over Shore Regional when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Long Branch Green Wave fell 53-41 to the Shore Regional Blue Devils on Saturday.

Long Branch's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Shore Regional, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long Branch will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pinelands Regional at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Shore Regional will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Southern Regional at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
