Softball Recap: Evansville's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Evansville had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Delavan-Darien Comets get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blue Devils' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Evansville's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Delavan-Darien, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Looking ahead, Evansville will square off against Clinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Delavan-Darien, they will challenge Jefferson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
