Basketball Recap: Radlee Ferguson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Elida over Grady

Elida played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 57-32 to the Grady Bronchos. The Tigers have struggled against the Bronchos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Elida's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Radlee Ferguson, who posted 11 points.

Deakin Ragland was the offensive standout of the match as he put up 19 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Nolen, who scored 13 points.

Elida's record is now 7-10. As for Grady, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Elida will head out on the road to challenge Melrose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Melrose will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Elida surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grady, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gateway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
