Baseball Game Preview: Salinas Cowboys vs. Templeton Eagles

The Salinas Cowboys will head out on the road to take on the Templeton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salinas hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Salinas' offense. They came up short against Palma on Thursday, falling 12-0.

Meanwhile, Templeton had just enough and edged out Pioneer Valley 7-6 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Andrew Raab was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Swan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Templeton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Salinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
