Softball Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Loss

Irondequoit fell victim to Rush-Henrietta and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Royal Comets. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royal Comets from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Irondequoit's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rush-Henrietta, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Irondequoit didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against Webster Thomas on the 5th. As for Rush-Henrietta, they have also already played their next game, an 11-5 loss against Penfield on the 3rd.
