Soccer Game Preview: South Lyon vs. North Farmington + How To Watch

The South Lyon Lions will challenge the North Farmington Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

South Lyon proved they can win big on Monday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Farmington. The final result isn't all that surprising considering South Lyon's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Farmington are ranked 249th).

Meanwhile, North Farmington came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eagles.

South Lyon's win bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for North Farmington, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
