Soccer Game Preview: Manitowoc Lincoln vs. Hartford + How To Watch

Manitowoc Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Hartford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Ships will square off against the Orioles at 7:00 p.m. Manitowoc Lincoln has given up an average of 4.1 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manitowoc Lincoln is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Green Bay Preble on Thursday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, Hartford hadn't done well against Homestead recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Orioles' defense stepped up to hand the Highlanders a 3-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hartford.

Hartford's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Manitowoc Lincoln couldn't quite get it done against Hartford in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can the Ships avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
