Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Athens

Athens won against Colon last Thursday with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Athens Indians walked away with a 47-35 victory over the Bellevue Broncos. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Broncos back in January, they had to take a 46-44 loss.

Athens' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12. As for Bellevue, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
