St. John Paul II never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Mashpee on Monday. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 20-7 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Lola Our was a standout: she went 3-for-6 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Elle Kowal was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

The victory got St. John Paul II back to even at 5-5. As for Mashpee, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

St. John Paul II wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 18-0 loss against Monomoy on the 13th. As for Mashpee, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-4 defeat against Rising Tide on the 13th.
