Recap: Lowell Cardinals vs. Washington Eagles
The Lowell Cardinals entered their tilt with the Washington Eagles with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Lowell managed a 44-40 victory over Washington on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lowell also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Korey Abantao. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Johnson Chang, who scored four points along with two steals.
Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Lowell will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Washington will take on Balboa at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
