Northwestern Area entered their tilt with Gettysburg on Thursday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Battlers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12, 25-17.

Northwestern Area's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elexis Kramp led the charge by getting 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Kramp a new career-high. Sophia Troske was another key player, getting four digs and four aces.

Northwestern Area's victory bumped their record up to 30-2. As for Gettysburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Northwestern Area will head out to square off against Groton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gettysburg, they will square off against Leola/Frederick at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
