Chatsworth and Taft are an even 2-2-6 against one another since December of 2021, but likely not for long. The Chancellors will square off against the Toreadors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chatsworth fell victim to El Camino Real and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. While losing is never fun, Chatsworth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while El Camino Real are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Birmingham, falling 3-0.

Chatsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-4. As for Taft, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12-6.

Everything went Chatsworth's way against Taft when the teams last played back in January, as Chatsworth made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chancellors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
