CODY CARNATHAN posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
