Peninsula won the last time they faced South and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While Peninsula might've won, it sure wasn't easy: South scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 29-27.

Peninsula's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for South, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Looking ahead, Peninsula will be taking part in a tournament against Woodbridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South, they will challenge West Ranch at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
