Basketball Recap: Brooks Takes a Loss

Brooks's tournament run continued when they took on South Florence on Friday. The Brooks Lions fell 55-44 to the South Florence Bruins. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brooks has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for South Florence, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Brooks and Franklin-Simpson will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for South Florence, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Greenbrier at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
