Baseball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Lebanon nor Elizabethtown made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Cedars lost 16-8 to the Bears. The Cedars have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Diego Serrano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Elizabethtown, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8.

Coming up, Lebanon will venture away from home to challenge Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Elizabethtown, they will host J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
