Softball Recap: CORE Butte Find Success

The third road matchup was the charm for CORE Butte, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Hoopa Valley Warriors by a score of 6-1 on Saturday.

CORE Butte's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Hoopa Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. CORE Butte will host Los Molinos at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Molinos will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something CORE Butte surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hoopa Valley, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against South Fork at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Hoopa Valley their first taste of in-conference action this season.
