Basketball Recap: Anderson County Comes Up Short

Anderson County lost against Clinton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Anderson County Mavericks took a 47-30 bruising from the Clinton Dragons. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anderson County now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Clinton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Anderson County will head out on the road to take on Cumberland Gap at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Powell at 4:30 p.m.
