Baseball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

If Euclid was riding high fresh off their 16-10 takedown of Maple Heights on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 24-1 to the Mentor Cardinals on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 23-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mentor, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Euclid will challenge rival Strongsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mentor is set to take on their familiar foe Cleveland Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
