Basketball Game Preview: Norfork Panthers vs. Concord Pirates

Norfork is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home court against the Concord Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Norfork lost 65-45 to Melbourne on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Concord ended up a good deal behind Newport two weeks ago and lost 50-33. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost three in a row.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Norfork, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Norfork against Concord when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 61-23 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
