Porter has gone 6-0 against Weslaco East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Porter Cowboys will head out on the road to take on the Weslaco East Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Porter will be strutting in after a win while Weslaco East will be coming in after a loss.

Porter took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Pace.

Meanwhile, Weslaco East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to Donna.

Weslaco East's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-2. As for Porter, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Porter took their victory against Weslaco East when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1. Will Porter repeat their success, or does Weslaco East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
