Orr has won four straight games at home, while Crane Medical has won four straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Orr Spartans will host the Crane Medical Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Orr is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
Last Wednesday, Orr was able to grind out a solid win over King, taking the game 54-44. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Jaguars are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Orr's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Carmani Sharkey, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Nia Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Crawford is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Neshaun Russell, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Crane Medical took their match on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 71-11 victory over Hyde Park. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 25 points or more this season.
Crane Medical's win came from a few key players Orr will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Serenity James, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 12 points in addition to six steals and five boards. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taniya Reynolds, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 10 points along with six boards and three steals.
Crane Medical smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Crane Medical's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Orr, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1.
