Baseball Game Preview: Ferris Yellowjackets vs. Godley Wildcats

The Ferris Yellowjackets will face off against the Godley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ferris lost 20-1 to Godley on Friday.

For Godley's part, Grayson Crane looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Crane has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Godley got a massive performance out of Braxton Spohn, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Spohn has posted over his last 14 matches. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Daily, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Godley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ferris only posted an OBP of .381.
