Softball Recap: Anderson-Shiro Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Anderson-Shiro's offense. They came up short against the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Fighting Owls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Anderson-Shiro now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

While Anderson-Shiro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
