Basketball Recap: Clarenceville Takes a Loss

If Clarenceville was feeling good fresh off their 70-44 takedown of Novi Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clarenceville Trojans were beaten by the Divine Child Falcons 85-53 on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Clarenceville's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Divine Child, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Clarenceville will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenhills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Divine Child, they will face off against Clintondale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clintondale is on a three-game streak of home wins, Divine Child a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
