Mission San Jose strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-50 W against the Watsonville Wildcatz. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Watsonville lost, don't look at Deigo Garcia. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Abraham Martinez, who posted eight points and three steals.

Mission San Jose's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Watsonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission San Jose will challenge James Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watsonville, they will face off against Marina at 6:30 p.m. on the 11th.
