Softball Recap: Windham Bombers vs. Mathews Mustangs
Windham lost to Mathews last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bombers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-4. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Makenna Jones was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
Windham's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Mathews, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Windham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mathews, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
