Sumner waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spanaway Lake Sentinels an 8-0 shutout. Considering Sumner have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sumner's victory bumped their record up to 9-1-3. As for Spanaway Lake, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11-1.
