Hobbton has gone 8-0-2 against Rosewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hobbton Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Rosewood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Hobbton didn't have quite enough to beat Princeton and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 71st).

Meanwhile, Rosewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Princeton, falling 8-0.

Rosewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hobbton, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 1-4-1.

Everything went Hobbton's way against Rosewood when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Hobbton made off with a 7-0 victory. Will Hobbton repeat their success, or does Rosewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
