The biggest upset of the week belonged to Port Clinton, who took down 424th ranked Port Clinton, 20-14.

Margaretta moved up to 491 from 536 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sandusky Bay. The Polar Bears climbed the ranks as a result of a 20-14 win over the Redskins.

Perkins's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandon Smith threw for 74 and one touchdown and Mitch Benkey had 40 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Sparks chipped in 88 yards. Dale Irby helped Perkins' passing attack out by catching three balls for 21 yards.

Perkins' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pirates feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 587 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Irby has 14 catches for 173 yards. Benkey leads the league in rushing with 589 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Oak Harbor takes on Huron. At the moment, the Rockets are in second, while the Tigers are in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Pirates take on Clyde. Perkins has allowed 71 points this season, while the Fliers have given up 92. Jason Ziegler's team allowed 3 points last week as it beat Huron.

The Pirates extended the longest winning streak in Sandusky Bay this week by beating Tony Legando's team, 35-3. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
