Buffalo waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Rosebud-Lott Cougars by a score of 43-30. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Cougars are ranked 858th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Buffalo pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Rosebud-Lott, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Buffalo will take on Teague in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosebud-Lott and McDade will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosebud-Lott's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so McDade's offense will have their work cut out for them.
