Softball Recap: Conway Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Conway had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats by a score of 7-2. The Wampus Cats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Charging Wildcats, too.

Conway pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Little Rock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conway will head out to square off against Cabot at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wampus Cats will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for North Little Rock, they will challenge Little Rock Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Charging Wildcats are facing the Gryphons at the right time seeing as the Gryphons are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
