Volleyball Recap: Eastwood Comes Up Short at Home Against Tinora

Eastwood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Tinora Rams on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Mackenna Miller paced Eastwood's offense, picking up 22 kills. Miller got some help from Olivia Riter and her 35 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Eastwood has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Liberty-Benton on the 21st. As for Tinora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Parkway on the 19th.
