Grandview's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Toppenish Wildcats 10-0. The Greyhounds not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th (when they won 23-1).

Marliese Padgham made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Padgham was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Aileen Ledesma was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Sofia Tovar was another key player, going 1-for-2 with five stolen bases and two runs.

Grandview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Grandview's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10-2. As for Toppenish, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grandview beat the Wildcats by a score of 6-0 later that day.
