Volleyball Recap: Upson-Lee Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Upson-Lee extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Allie Richmond. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Jasper County Hurricanes 2-1 for which the team can thank Richmond, who had 16 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Upson-Lee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-15, 15-11.

Upson-Lee's victory bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Jasper County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lamar County on the 18th. As for Jasper County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Westside on the 18th.
