Baseball Recap: Kellis Takes a Loss

Kellis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Centennial Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Kellis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Ortiz Felix, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Kellis' loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

While Kellis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
