Baseball Recap: Owensville Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

There's no place like home for Owensville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Salem Tigers with a sharp 19-1 victory on Monday. With that win, the Dutchmen brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Chris Allen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Landon Kramme was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Owensville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Owensville pushed their record up to 2-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
