Klete Cook Game Report: vs Lakeland

For the first time in his career, Klete Cook scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for six yards and one TD, but sadly Weiser still had to take a 24-9 loss at the hands of Lakeland. We rated that as his best performance since last Thursday, when he rushed for 49 yards, and also threw for 108 yards while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Coming up, Cook and Weiser will challenge Melba at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Cook duked it out with the Mustangs (back in September of 2024), the Wolverines came out on top by a score of 61-22. Will another strong game from Cook be enough to do it again?
