Baseball Game Preview: Berkeley Springs Indians vs. Fort Hill Sentinels

Berkeley Springs fell victim to Clarke County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Eagles.

Berkeley Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon McClintock, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Conner Maconaughey also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Fort Hill ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against Keyser by a score of 5-1. The game was the first time the Sentinels have beaten the Golden Tornado on their field since April 21, 2017.

Fort Hill now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Berkeley Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
